Words on Identity
Is identity real, or fabricated? For does identity have anything to do with Essence?
Identity is the robes you wear here. What you put on based on what you see around you. Your Essence just is. It’s what you do from what you are because of what you are. It is not a choice, it is not conceived, it is felt and it is released. That release is what the world sees.
Identity is like the filter applied, the choice made from the outside. Mother, runner, lover, brother. Do these have anything to do with your Essence, saying you are these things? Identifying and declaring what has been. For what does that have to do with you? What does that have to do with everything you do because you feel it and then it flows out of you?
Yes, you may run, but what is a runner? For a million people may have a million conceptions of this under the Sun. You are not a runner, you simply run. You are energy in motion. What happens when we label energy in motion? It becomes allotted and thus finite in its expression. It does what it is told to be. We do what we say.
Essence is a feeling, a knowing inside. Authenticity is all you interact with outside. And Identity, the confines in which you wish to reside. And so while loss of identity may feel uncomfortable to the indoctrinated mind, your Essence is there all of the time. Creating from it is what makes Authenticity, or lack thereof.
You can do without saying a word about what you are. You can think of your essence as a generator. Particulate matter that never stops moving and thus is always generating. From generation comes creation, without the filter placed on it by an identity.
Does Knowledge create identity?
It is merely information to enhance or detour your understanding of Self.
